My parents thought me the tithing principle early in life, as well as work ethics. I did not know what a credit card was until I was an adult. My parents did not have debt. We were poor at best by American standards. However, my dad purchased some land and we all worked to build a log cabin with cash. We used the neighbor’s saw mill and picked up rocks for the foundation. I moved out before it was ever finished -but 32 years later it has never had a mortgage and God has blessed my family.
