To add to your comment, Marissa, I have found that owning too much “stuff” requires time and work to take care of it. So often we buy and never use it. I know a lady who was single and I do think that out of sadness or loneliness she went shopping to fill a hole in her life. She was a wonderful person but had I had the courage to speak up and let her know that to stop spending and start giving of her time or resources to people who have nothing she would have been so much happier. When she passed away her space was full of clothes with the tags still on, shoes never worn, Precious Moments and other items still in their original boxes and bags. She never even looked at them or enjoyed them. GOD is the only one or things that can fill our empty space in us.
