My name is Julie LaFontaine, I am a full time operating room nurse. My husband is a construction superintendent. We are trying to complete the course together- our work schedules vary. We live in Atlanta, GA. We are in the DINK tax class… Double Income, No Kids at home. We are very blessed – we live very modest and have paid off $92K worth of debt. However, we are now wondering what is next. I am a planner by nature. I set goals and meet them most of the time. However, I am also very frugal (grew up financially poor) but I want to help others less fortunate. I also want to “fix” things, including empowering others to help themselves without becoming cynical. My score was 87. I need to work on giving (time), investing and legacy. I am excited about this class. In the past, my income barely paid the bills. I was constantly creating budgets but regardless of how short I was on income, I paid my tithes first. Although it never matched up on paper, the bills were always paid on time. By the way, we attend Atlanta Dream Center Church in Atlanta.
