Welcome!

Welcome to Crown’s online MoneyLife Personal Finance Study!

My name is Jerry Tregea and I am so excited to be your facilitator for this course. I truly hope it makes a deep impact and brings change to your life.

If you haven’t done so yet, please take some time to do the course’s pre-work and definitely take a good look at the course schedule and syllabus when it becomes available.

I recommended taking 5 minutes and just start clicking around the site once the materials become available. Once you get used to navigating the pages it’s a breeze!

One thing I wanted to specifically mention before we start is the discussion boards. Individual participation is what makes the experience better for yourself and the group as a whole. You can get a lot out of just going through the material but the more involved you become the more you will take away.

There are three separate discussion boards on this site:
1) The lesson discussion board is where we can discuss relevant questions each week that correspond with the material. This is the main board.
2) There is also a prayer request and praise report board that you can use if you have something you would like to share with the group. The goal is to provide an environment where everyone would feel comfortable doing this if they are so led.
3) The technical support board is for questions about navigating the site or learning about Crown materials and other things like that. If I don’t know the answer to one of your questions I will direct you to someone who can. I will respond as soon as possible and will never be more than 24 hours getting back to you.

I’m looking forward to walking through this journey with you! As a bit of encouragement to help you complete this course even when your schedule fills or life just gets in the way, let me share with you one of my favorite Bible verses:

I Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

We are in this thing together and we’re going to give it our best shots!

Thanks,
Jerry
